Polesie midfielder Vasily Gritsuk expressed his gratitude towards Ruslan Malinovsky and Oleksandr Zinchenko for playing alongside him at the club. Gritsuk, who is also the team captain, wished the Ukrainian legionnaires success in their careers, stating that it is enjoyable to see the development of younger players. In an interview with the Ukrainian Football website, he mentioned that they would play together like veterans after they retire from professional football. Gritsuk also emphasized the importance of not forgetting the land of their birth for the president and the city.

“I wish them long football life. It’s fun to see the development of the children. When we are done with football, we will play together like veterans. It would be good if they did not forget the land of their birth. This is important for the president and the city,” Hrytsuk said in an interview with the Ukrainian Football website.
