Vashchuk revealed that he had previously helped soldiers and victims of the Russian invasion, but felt that this was not enough and decided to join the National Guard. Vladislav Vashchuk admitted that before joining the National Guard, he tried to help soldiers and victims of the Russian invasion.

The former soccer player ignored the terrorist country’s mass media reaction to his decision to serve in the Ukrainian army.

Vashchuk also said that his brigade is based in the Kyiv region, but part of it is at the front.
