Reports suggest that Dynamo head coach, Mircea Lucescu, is being considered for a position at Fenerbahce, but not as a coach. The Turkish club is looking to change its head coach soon, and Lucescu is among the three candidates for the position. However, Fenerbahce is said to be keen on having the Romanian coach on board as a sports director, while former goalkeeper of the club, Volkan Demirel, would become the head coach. Lucescu has worked three times in Turkey during his coaching career, leading Galatasaray, Besiktas, and the national team.
Dynamo head coach Mircea Lucescu may return to work in Turkey during the summer transfer window, though not as a coach, but as a football official.
Today it was reported that Fenerbahce plans to change the head coach in the near future, and Mircea Lucescu is one of the three candidates for this position.

But according to the Turkish publication Yenicag, the management of Fenerbahce really want to see the Romanian player in their club, however, in the position of sports director. At the same time, the former goalkeeper of the club Volkan Demirel should become the head coach of the team.
The 77-year-old Lucescu’s contract with Dynamo lasts until the summer of 2024. Now the Romanian specialist is on sick leave, and Alexander Shovkovsky performs his duties.
