Palmeiras winger Dudu has taken to Instagram to make a humorous request to his club’s president. In a post about a businessman who took his employees on holiday to Malaysia, Dudu tagged Leyla Pereira in the comments, asking if she would be willing to do the same for the Palmeiras squad. Although Pereira has yet to respond, the club has recently purchased an Embraer E-190 aircraft for an estimated $64m, which will be used to transport players to domestic and international matches. The purchase is expected to provide “more comfort and agility” for the team.
Former Dinamo winger Dudu, who now plays for Palmeiras, poked fun at his club president, Leila Pereira, on Instagram. The Brazilian asked to go on holiday in Malaysia.
An Instagram post called “Reasons to Believe” posted a post that tells the story of a businessman who shut down his company for a week and took all his employees with him on vacation to Malaysia.
Customers are encouraged to tag their boss in the post to encourage them to do something similar.
The post, which received thousands of likes and comments, launched the following challenge:
“Are you brave enough to tag your boss here?”
The 31-year-old Brazilian winger Palmeiras Dudu did not hesitate to mention his club president, Leyla Pereira, in the comments.
The player has yet to hear back from the boss, so it is not known if Pereira will pay for the rest of the team in Malaysia.
However, it has already purchased a 114-seat Embraer E-190 aircraft for the club, at an estimated cost of $64 million, which is expected to arrive in Brazil on June 8.
The aircraft will be used to travel to domestic and international matches, which should provide players with more comfort and agility.
