Ojogo reported that Porto’s complaint against the Benfica midfielder was the reason for the opening of the proceedings. Neres, during a live broadcast of the Lisbon championship team’s celebration on social networks, insulted Porto players with obscene language.

Neres faces at least one game of disqualification and in this case he will miss the Portuguese Super Cup, where Benfica will play the winner of the national Cup (Porto and Braga will play in the final).
