Norwegian coach Ronnie Deyla is expected to lead Brugge to success in the upcoming season, and Belgian football analyst Wim De Coninck believes he can help Ukrainian striker Roman Yaremchuk return to his previous form. Deyla has a successful coaching career, having won championships in Norway, Scotland, and the United States. In particular, De Coninck hopes that Deyla can bring Yaremchuk back to his previous level, along with other players such as Scott Parker and Rick De Mile. Yaremchuk joined Club Brugge from Benfica at the start of the current season and played 27 games for the team.

“It seems a young manager at the club is sometimes pushed in a certain direction, but with Dale they don’t have to. He is charismatic and has his own opinion on how to do certain things.”

The expert believes that Deyla will confirm his high reputation and, in particular, will help Roman Yaremchuk to shine again.
“He has won championships in different countries and he knows the level of Belgian championships. He also needs to bring Yaremchuk back to level, as well as Scott Parker and Rick De Mile, and I hope he succeeds,” said De Koninka in comments to Krant van West-Vlaanderen.
Remember that Dale’s last club was Standard. In his career, he has won three national championships:
- Stromsgodset. Norwegian Champion 2013;
- Celtic. Scottish Champions 2014/15, 2015/16;
- New York City. 2021 MLS Champions.
Yaremchuk, 27, joined Club Brugge from Benfica at the start of the current season for €16m. For the team, he played 27 games (two goals, two assists).
