Former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor has named Ukrainian winger Mikhail Mudrik in his “losing side” for the 2022/23 Premier League season due to his lack of goals. Mudrik, who joined Chelsea from Shakhtar Donetsk for €100m in the winter transfer window, failed to score in his debut season. Agbonlahor admitted that Mudrik may perform better next season, but still included him in the team of the worst transfers of the season, according to Goal. The 22-year-old made 17 appearances for Chelsea and provided two assists, but failed to live up to his hefty transfer fee.

Gabriel Agbonlahor believes that Mikhail Mudrik failed in his debut season in the Premier League. As such, the former striker included the Ukrainian in his losing side. However, the Englishman believes our compatriots will play even better in the 2023/24 Premier League.
“A very bad season, zero goals in the Premier League. I think next season he will be better, but this season he should be in the underdog team,” Agbonlahor told Express.
