The former head coach of Karpaty, Mariupol and several other UPL clubs Oleksandr Sevidov is not satisfied with the work of the Italian expert Luciano Luchi as the head of the UAF Referee Committee.

Alexander Sevidov said he did not understand why Luciano Luci, at the age of 73, continued to work in a responsible position as head of the UAF Referee Committee.

The expert cites the example of Hryhoriy Surkis, who left the post of President of the Football Federation of Ukraine in 2012 at the age of 61.

“I still don’t understand why they took out Surkis, supposedly because of his age, and left Luchi? He is 73 years old, he will be 74 in August. Where is the decision? Our arbitrators are relegated again in several European rankings. Now I don’t know what they will value. Maybe the Falkland Islands and Sumatra.”

Sevidov believes that the curator of Italian arbitration only brings harm to Ukrainian football.

“We have good referees. The tradition that is the basis of judgment is simply destroyed. New, on the other hand, cannot be built. When the Italians leave here and we start collecting what they have done here, we just have to hold our heads,” said Sevidov in the Tricks and Tackles program.

Remember that in addition to Luchi, his Italian friend Nicola Rizzoli holds the position of curator of Ukrainian referee training at UAF. In Ukraine, they earn a lot of money.
