Emirati Al Ain fans reacted sharply to the early defeat of their favorite team in the race for the championship title, the main cause of which was Sergey Rebrov.
Al-Ain under the leadership of Sergey Rebrov and with the participation of Andrey Yarmolenko in the 25th round of the UAE Championship beat Al-Wasl (3:2) on the road, but this did not help the team to save the chance for the championship. In the parallel match, Al-Ahly won a decisive victory over Baniyas (2:1) and won the championship one round before the finish line.
Although the difference between the teams is only three points, Al-Ahli has the advantage in the personal meeting with Al-Ain (2:1 and 1:1).
Defeat in the title race disappointed Al Ain fans, who now want the Ukrainian to be replaced by another specialist.
